Forever and Ever costs, like Invitesly, € 99 one-off. At an equal price the choice turns entirely on what you get for that amount, not on who is cheaper.

Full disclosure: Invitesly is the provider of this website. We tried to write this comparison the way we would want to read it ourselves, including the points on which the other is better.

Forever and Ever has a number of built-in functions that Invitesly does not: a planning checklist, multilingual content and a domain of your own at a small extra charge. That is no small thing and we would rather say it honestly up front than have you find out later.

What Forever and Ever stands for now

Whoever wants real help planning the wedding itself besides the invitation has more at Forever and Ever: a checklist is already in, multilingual content is possible for international guests, and a domain name of your own can be linked. Their retention is also solidly arranged, with an explicit promise to extend at no cost if the wedding moves.

Why Invitesly deliberately does not become a planning tool

This is not a gap that happens to be still open. Invitesly does everything that belongs to the wedding: guests, RSVP, dietary needs, tables, the programme of the day, printed items in the theme of the invitation. Everything that belongs to a planner's business, such as budget, invoices and task lists, we do not build; couples and planners already have something for that which works. Working with a wedding planner? Then the planner works along in the same place.

Where Invitesly already goes further

One thing we did not find at Forever and Ever: an upload link of its own for your photographer and videographer, so official images land directly on the same page your guests already know. In addition, Invitesly keeps track of who did open the invitation but has not yet responded, which makes more targeted reminding possible than a general reminder email to everyone.

Choose Forever and Ever if

You also want a checklist and multilingual content besides the invitation, and a domain name of your own matters to you.

Choose Invitesly if

You find design and a well-working guest list more important than extra planning tools, and you value how the photographer and videographer deliver their material and how long you can find everything again.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between Invitesly and Forever and Ever?

Both cost € 99 one-off, with no guest limit, so the difference is in the functions. Forever and Ever has a planning checklist, multilingual content and a domain of your own at an extra charge. Invitesly has an upload link for photographer and videographer without an account, insight into who opened the invitation but has not yet responded, and printed items in the theme of the invitation.

Is Invitesly more expensive than Forever and Ever?

No. Both cost € 99 one-off and have no guest limit. With Forever and Ever a domain name of your own costs extra; with Invitesly more storage than the 10 GB included and extending after 24 months (€ 9.99 per year) are the only optional extras. A multi-day wedding costs € 149 at Invitesly. At an equal price the choice turns on what you get for that amount.

Does Invitesly have a seating plan and a planning checklist, like Forever and Ever?

A seating plan yes: at Invitesly it comes from the guest list, with the dietary needs shown, and immediately produces the place cards and menu card in the theme. A planning checklist Invitesly deliberately does not build: budget, task lists and invoices we leave to the couple and the wedding planner, who already have something for that.

How long does your page stay online at Forever and Ever and at Invitesly?

At both 24 months, but counted differently. Forever and Ever counts from your purchase and extends at no cost if the wedding falls later. Invitesly counts from the wedding day itself; if the date moves, the end date moves along automatically.

Does Invitesly support multiple languages, like Forever and Ever?

No. Forever and Ever offers multilingual content for international guests; at Invitesly the invitation is in Dutch. If you have many foreign guests, this is currently a reason to choose Forever and Ever.
