The problem is not that these prices are secret. The problem is that the stated price is rarely the price you end up paying.

Where it goes wrong: prices that are not the whole price

bruiloft-website.com sells RSVP separately. The base price of € 59 to € 99 covers the wedding website itself. Want guests to be able to respond? Then you pay € 19 to € 59 on top, depending on your number of guests. With seventy-five guests that is € 79 plus € 29 in total, not the € 79 shown on the pricing page.

Weddamo's entry rate is not the rate you can get anything done with. For € 69 you get no guest book and no room for guest photos; that is only in the Pro package of € 139. Whoever counts on € 69 and later notices that the desired functions are missing, in reality pays double.

Lovitations works with the same structure. The entry price of € 85 covers the invitation. Extensive RSVP questions, a guest book and a gift list are only in the Premium package, which puts the real price for a complete package closer to € 200 than to the € 85 on the homepage.

Weddamo and Flinnley also charge recurrently. Weddamo asks € 39 per year to keep your page after the first year. Flinnley is entirely subscription-based and deletes your event thirty days after cancelling. A one-off price that still produces a bill after a year is not a one-off price.

What a paper wedding card costs, for comparison

Printing a hundred paper wedding cards costs between € 100 and € 300, depending on paper type and finish (on average € 1 to € 3 per card). On top comes the postage: a stamp for domestic mail has cost € 1.40 each since 1 January 2026, so € 140 for a hundred cards. Together, then, between € 240 and € 440 for a hundred guests. Almost every digital provider in this overview, Invitesly included, is well below the lower bound of that range, even when you count the small print.

What to ask beforehand, of every provider

  • Is RSVP in the base price, or is it a separate purchase?
  • Are the guest book and guests' photo uploads in the base price, or only in a higher package?
  • Is the price one-off, or does a bill for extending come after a year?
  • Is there a guest limit, and what does it cost if you go over it?

What is included in the price at Invitesly

€ 99 per wedding, one-off, with no guest limit; € 149 for a multi-day wedding. It includes a page that fits your own style, all practical modules, full RSVP and guest list, and the memory page with guest photos, videos and the digital guest book, printed items in the theme and 10 GB of storage. There is no separate package you still have to buy to get the functions you expect. You build for free and only pay when you put the page live.

Where this information comes from

All amounts come from the provider's own pricing page, retrieved on 31 July 2026. Where a provider does not publish something, that is stated explicitly instead of an estimate. No paid placements, no affiliate links. The paper-card figure comes from the official PostNL stamp rate and a cost overview from ThePerfectWedding, consulted on 1 August 2026.

Frequently asked questions

What is the average price of a wedding website in the Netherlands?

Between € 49 and € 99 one-off at most providers. Outliers upward are Lovitations (up to € 382.50 for the most extensive package) and the subscriptions of Flinnley and TrouwBuddy. Downward iMarry is entirely free, as part of a broader planning app.

Are there hidden costs with wedding websites?

Regularly. bruiloft-website.com sells RSVP separately from the wedding website. Weddamo and Lovitations keep the guest book and guest photos behind a higher package than the entry rate. Always ask this before going for the lowest price: what is included, what costs extra, and how long does the page stay online.

Is a wedding website cheaper than paper wedding cards?

Usually yes. A hundred paper cards cost between € 240 and € 440 together in printing and postage: € 100 to € 300 in printing, plus € 140 in stamps at the current PostNL rate of € 1.40 each. Most digital wedding websites, Invitesly included, stay well below that lower bound.

Do you pay once or recurrently for a wedding website?

With most providers once. Weddamo asks € 39 per year after the first year to keep your page. Flinnley and TrouwBuddy work entirely with a subscription. Invitesly asks € 99 once (€ 149 for a multi-day wedding); a couple never has an ongoing payment with it.

What should be included in the price of a wedding website?

At least RSVP and guest list, a guest book and a clear duration; ask this of every provider. With Invitesly everything is in the € 99 one-off, with no guest limit: all modules, printed items in the theme and the memory page. You build for free and only pay when you put your page live. After that it stays online for 24 months after the wedding day.
